Photography-Imagen International/Imagen by Alex Del Toro
I was absolutely SHOCKED when I found out how much wedding day photography costs. We had a pretty small wedding budget, and while photography was at the top of my list for importance, I just couldn't fathom spending more than $1000. To my dismay, the majority of *good* photogs charged upwards of $2000-$3000.
Through the good-ole Knot boards, I heard about Imagen and decided to check them out. I thought that their pictures were pretty decent and their price was perfect-I felt like we were ripping them off with how much they offered in their package! After talking with them on the phone, and discussing it with the fiance, we decided to book with them.
We did our engagement pics with Lizzy and Alex in the Gold Medal Park area and at the Guthrie Theater. We weren't really thrilled with our e-pics because some of the poses were too posed, a little odd, and didn't photograph very well in our opinion. I'm so glad that we did our e-pics with them though because it gave us a chance to understand their style a little better, and I also knew that I needed to be a little more vocal with why types of shots I wanted. I will say that our wedding day shots (done by Alex and his assistant) turned out FANTASTIC! We were so happy with how they turned out and the number of shots to choose from. I think it also helped that we weren't posing for the camera as much (like we did for our e-pics) and that our pictures turned out more natural.

Second Shoot-Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner
Our second shoot was at our rehearsal with Lizzy at both the church and dinner location-Buca diBeppo's downtown Mpls.
